June Round-Up

There's so much I've loved about the month of June. I wrote about five blog posts in the last five days that have been sitting and catching dust in my draft folder. The month has gone by slowly yet so fast. We are in the middle of Winter where I'm at.

At the beginning of the month I went on trip to Pretoria, South Africa. This is the place I've stayed years in and there I was still excited to be back. I think the reason I was excited to be back was because this time I wasn't alone. I was with my sisters and my sister's friend and we went out and had a great time together. It was really nice getting out there, spending more time with my sisters and getting out of my loner routine. I do that every once in a while.

Another thing that happened this month was I was able to sit back and take some time away from blogging. I love doing this so much but I also understand the value of taking a break and that's what I did. It feels so great to be back.

It would be careless of me to not mention just how much I love my blog's new look! While I was taking some time off I also found the time to make some changes to my blog and I couldn't be happier. It makes me feel so refreshed and happy seeing it like this.

I have also re-released my EP on major music stores (Spotify, Apple Music and more). If you didn't know, I'm a singer and songwriter. I make R&B, soul and pop music. The EP was recorded and released back in 2020 and it carries four songs in it, all written from my own personal experiences.

Today is the 30th, the day I annouce the winner of the two free tickets to my upcoming music event. It has been a great month putting the word out about the event and now the day has come to announce who takes away the tickets. The event will take place on September 24th. I'm still so thankful for last year's concert, it was really great seeing the support from the people who came through.

June has been a great month and I'm very grateful for everything good that's happened this month.
